Had a first this week! A Mondeo came in with a track rod end fault- when we removed the wheel, the bolt for the brake caliper had sheared off- in turn, this had hit the cv boot, and grease was everywhere! I trained at a ford dealership, and NEVER had that before!

Winter weather or not

Well, it appears we are still waiting for winter! In all this wet weather though, be sure to check your tyre pressures, (as this gives you more grip on the road) check brakes and keep washer bottles topped up- its no fun on a motorway behind a wagon, and you cannot wash the windscreen!
